Nordic blue is to vauxhall what pigoens are to london, with out it it wouldn't be right but in truth it's just **** falling from the sky
Being an owner of an Astra in Vauxhall Nordic Blue, im probably biased.
But if its done up, i think it looks a good colour, real eyecatcher (how many cars do you see done up in this colour?).
Obviously with ****ty grey bumpers, its gonna look grandad stylee, but colour code it and lets see the results. I think it will look good.

Yeah i know what ya mean, only ever seen one car done up in nordic blue.. just got the boot spoiler on to go with the gsi grille. getting gsi bumpers and side skirts soon + gsi alloys. its looking much better now than when i got it when it looked very standard!

That was when i first got my astra. Things have changed since then!
I think you should definately do it up in that colour, after all how many white and black GSi's (or replicas) do ya see?

very true, my colour is actually very different from that in other pics, looks lighter than that. I had the wing mirrors colour coded too and astra sri hubcaps. Looks nice now, gsi bumpers will set it off nicely now. i'm not going to rebadge it as a gsi cos i dont see the point faking something like thatthis pic shows the colour better i think, and my cousins car in the background
I think your right there mate! I dont know of anyone else having that colour on here!we must be the only 2 on migweb with nordic blue cars!
How did u colour code you mirrors? Was it easy? How long did it take to do/dry?
I think GSi bumpers would look good in that colour, are you gonna take off the black strips on the doors?

someone i know actually sprayed all the kit for me, just was primer and then quite a few coats of paint and then 3 coats of laquer i think for the mirrors, all the bits were done with tins inc the grille & spoiler but for bigger bits it would of been easier with a compressor to spray them. I have been thinking about removing the strips, would it leave any more than a glue mark if they came off? if its just straight bodywork underneath them then i'll take them off soon, already debadged the back end too
Did you not have to sand them down?
I think there should be any problems with taking off the strips.
Just some t-cut needed to get rid of all the ****ty glue.
Do a search on here about removing them just incase though!
When ya have done it and the GSi bumpers are on then post some pics up! Nice to see another modded Nordic Blue motor!

the mirrors were sanded down then primer etc (y), just a bit of white spirit and t cut done the trick on the badges. i'll post some pics when i done all the bodywork bits and alloys etc on it, its coming on nicely very quickly

BigKingy.The bonnet's got quite a bit a filler along base of it and been sprayed over, looks a bit shabby but will do unless I find a bumper in a scrappies! The previous owner fitted GTE rear clusters too, makes it a bit classier! Well chuffed with it.
Guess that makes me a member of the Nordic Blue owners club!! lol
