    wheel help

I've just bought a set of 17's et49 off ade van ward and they are awesome. I fitted the 2 205/45's on the front and it appears to be fine and vice versa with the rear.

    3 questions.

    1) Should i stick to to 45 or go for 40's allround?

    2) On the standard rear 205/45 fit fine however i'm gonna drop it by 40mm....will this cause a problem?

    3) The alloys inquestion have a few scratches. I'm goin to have them sandblasted but want to know what kind of material you would use to repair/smooth such scratches?

    Thanks

Best to go 40 profile as your speedo will not be reading corectly and try chemical meteal for the repairs. Its a bit harder to rub down but will last longer.

    cheers Lee.

That's what i thought on both counts.

What kind of primer would be best for alloy wheels...I'm guessing a heat-resistant one as the fronts will get hot???
