    Question Door lights for the back doors...

    Ok ive got the usual door lights for the fronts in me cav gsi but i want a set for the back to light up...do i just throw two bulbs in them and wire em up to ...???? the battery?

    Speak to YAMAHA. He has converted his. Also had a set of four out of a Senator for sale, not sure if he still has them though.

    Take one wire of the light on the door card(after you have put them on) and run it through the door loom to the grey wire in the sill,for the door switch.the other wire goes to the lie on the window motor.

    so id need to get hold of another set of light gears sets like i have in the front door cards then...what u mean take ione light off the door cards? do u mean one of the wires?

    He means the wire on the lil door lights, run the wire thats with the lights throught the door and then connect to a grey wire(this is for the door open switch) thats in the sill, and the live one conencts to the electric window motor feed, hence when the switch is made(door opend) the light will draw power from the window motor live.

    and yeah, you will have to get another set of kerb lights. like sewie said, yamaha has some for sale(or did) ask him.

    I think the only difference is that the cav ones are tinted, where the senator ones are clear. PM him, he'll tell you more. (tell him i told you about them.)
