    wheel size and pot holes

    hey people last night i went through a fooking masive pot hole at the mo i hve a space saver on it but dont fancy keep driving on it. my alloy size was 17/40/215 what steelie size would i need to match that would it be a 16 with a 60 wheel on it ?.

    also how much ov a chance do you think i would have claiming off the council cause not only my tyer and alloy is knacked but my steering feels off nd shakey

    Your 215/40/17 is 603.8mm in diameter (new tyre)
    If you got a 16" replacement the closest tyre would be a 195/50/16 which is 601.4mm which is within tyre wear differences anyway
