    Talking mk2 astra gte kits

    hi all just bought my first vauxhall
    been into modding for a while now but have usually stuck with fords

    any way looking about i havent realy found many body mods for my GTE and would love some pointers in the right area.

    also thinking about calibra turbo engine , how well does it fit how easy and bulkhead cutting and welding required and do u have to cut inner arches and what about the wiring usual bastard pert of engine replacement i expect .

    any facts and figures would be much appricited

    i live in the north west and wonder if theres any club meets or thing like going to santa pod get organised on a regular basis

    The C20LET is the same basic engine as fitted to the GTE 16V so no problems fitting it, no cutting required.


    The Turbo engines are quite a commodity, so not too cheap.
    You'll also have major traction problems, so a Limited Slip diff is pretty much a must.

    There are a few Tubbed MK2s on here, I'm sure someone will be able to give you all the details.
