    18's

215/35 18's can be got for under £100 each if you look around and aint to proud about your branding. You really want to stick with the 35 profile as this will keep your rolling radius about the same, a 40 profile will be a bit to tall. Mine has been running on 8 x 18 Masitaly's for about a year now with 215's on no probs.

Been ok for the last 25k. Aslong as you stick as close to et45-49 there shouldnt be a problem.

ok so ive got ot fit 35 profile rubber what about the width ive seen some 7.5 inch wide and also some 7 inch also 8 inch what could i use. the old rims were 17x7.5 speedlines et49 on 215 tyres. If i was to go 7, 7.5 or 8 inch wide would i still run 215 tyres???
thanx for the info also has any 1 ever fitted 19`s???

Go for 7.5 i would say mate. Havent fitted 19's on a MK3 before but we fitted a set onto Mats black MK4 thats often seen on PVD stand with 215/35 19 tyres on a 7.5 x 19 rim, all that was needed was an arch rolling sesh and rear bumper mounting mods, look out in Redline for that car as its gettin featured in December's edition.
