    Satin black

    Whats the best paint to go satin black, ive never painted satin or matt before, i know you can get 2k satin but is there a better/cheaper/easier paint than 2k?

    2k is going to be the best finish by far, its worth the extra effort tbh, but if its only somthing small wilkos do ok satin rattle cans about £3.50 i think

    i dont want rattle cans ive got a gun so id rather use that ill prob be using 2k but i just wanted othr peoples opinions because ive never painted satin before

    i've painted a car in matt black, mate....here we have paint cans at 1,5euro. six months now and still no problem. it took 23cans

    i did my corsa with 12 rattle cans of matt black. they were £1 each from maccess. came out pretty good.

    If you are going to go down the aerosol route, Don't get the simoniz ones. Used some touching up a few bits and they where absolute crap. Was very watery and didn't cover very well.
