just use the aerosol cans. the darkness depends on how many coats you put on. to get it proper chav black will take about 10+ coats, so just go steady

Why don't you just get some proper light tinting spray then add some laquer ..... hardly brain surgery .

    What car is it ?
If you want to smoke the front lights you'll need to take them apart and paint the back of the lights .

Ok , buy a proper light tinting paint as it's translucent , then add some laquer to get the shine .
To do front lights , you'll need to take the lights apart and paint the back part of the light to get the smoked effect .
Not sure on Corsa VXR front lights actually .

Theres tinting vinyl from laminx in smoked, provides a high gloss finnish and slightly smokes the lights and keeps within being road legal, various other grades of tint also but would check as some may be off road use. Advantage of the vinyl is both or all lights would be same tint, where tint spray will mix match no matter what u do!.
