    Fitting Corsa B GSI sideskirts

I bought a brand new set of GSI skirts and all the new clips that attach to the sills so I wondered if anyone knew the best way to mark out where the clips rivet to the sill? I think there are about 25 clips in all with 2 rivets in each and I want the skirts to sit perfectly so dont want to guestimate where to drill the holes and then end up with the skirt sitting wonky!
I know that a lot of people just bond the skirts on but I want to fit them with the proper clips so that its a bit easier to remove them in the future if I change the shell again
    Thanks, Paul

I'd put the clip into the skirt and use a ruler to measure the distance from the end of the skirt to the middle of the first clip and then use that measurement on the sill and attach the first clip and use that as a bench mark to work from!

That could work- the only idea I can come up with is to cover the sills with masking tape and try to mark it out somehow, as you say taking measurements from the clip attached to the skirt and transferring that to the sill. Does anyone know if Vauxhall had some engenious method of doing it in the factory?

yes they use a print out that goes along the car and has crosses where each rivet goes, easy peasy

Ah right, I thought they might have done something like that. I will head round to the dealer and see if they can get them although its probably a long shot, Cheers!

do you have the proper rivets? normal ones wont do as some of the clips need to slide away from the sill

I should think so, they still use the same brackets and rivets for fixing bodywork to new cars.

probably autovaux but they don't have anything left as of the last time I spoke to them, I had the last full set of jacking covers.

there is an extremely cheap kit in the for sale forum which I'm suprised no one has jumped on yet, if I had the money I'd have had it ages ago.
