Yeah, drill and tap top bolt hole in bonnet hinge, use one original wing bolt and drill another.

ah i see, i didnt mount them to the bonnet like you did, i drilled a hole right through where theres an indent for the rubber bit the bonnet sits on when shut, and put the nut on the outer edge, all hidden when shut too

they look better than the crap ones i have on mine, may have to find an omega breaking.

MK3 Astra and Corsa bonnet lifters? do show me one that had them as standard. the cheap ebay ones look/are crap. people use omega ones because they look OEM (cos they are) can be made to fit most cars, are cheap as chips if you find one for breaking and will undoubtably last longer than the £12 tat, even if they are 10 years old when you fit them

Well fitting them is easy and takes two mins. Painting the body can make the look more standard. My last set of lifters lasted 3years. £12 for 3years is good to me...
Just in my eyes it saves alot of messing about...

not a bad idea give the car a nice look to them as well i supose nice job
My inexx ones are ****e been on for 3 years now rusted and waste of time get omega ones imo
I've fixed this for you. Benn
But they've lasted 3years... Painting them would have fixed the rust prob.

I've got calibra INXX lifters on my corsa, the writing rubbed straight off and they look as though they could rust pretty easily but a bit of polish and maybe a lick of paint when the time comes should see them good, as with any moving parts you bolt to your car you have to keep on top of them or they will go to pot.
Omega ones are dirt cheap and really easy to fit and will last longer than any aftermarket ones due to being weatherproofed from the factory.
I may even chuck some Omega ones on the Fiesta for lazyness sake lmao
do u think I can mount some of these on a fiber fender/wing? will the fender hold?
doubtfull, I put the struts on my fibreglass tailgate and they tore through it after a few opens and closes.
