    Restoring metallic paint? Help!

    Hi,
I have a mate (just the one ) with a Calibra in that dark grey metallic colour. The bodywork has no deep scratches but need a good polish, but it's not a good idea to T-cut a metallic is it? Normally I would lightly T-Cut, polish and wax for a good result but have been advised against using ANY kind of abrasive polishes on metallic paint.

    What's the score?
    Cheers!

T-cut will be fine, just go gentle so as not to rub through clear coat.

Its just a weaker version of the red bottle.... use ordinary T cut and be gentle.... then a decent coat of polish - job done *
