Supposing you want mk3 bumper and mk2 grill, no probs there. dont know about the mk3 grill though, never had the parts handy to try.

so will they just bolt straight on ????
Hi rumble
Did you have to make any mods for the bumper brackets or did you use mrk 2 stuff to fit on the bumper....looks smart

"takes breath"
The day i got my bumper i found out that the bumper has two parts, the main outer shell and some kind of chassis inside, the chassis was held on by plastic pins and steel retainers, I think that i didnt get the part that connects to the mk3 astra though as there was no obvious way to attach it, on a mk2 bumper its really obvious because of the threaded pin that you bolt on.
So i took what i had and worked around the problem.
"NOTE" i havent ever worked on or looked at a mk3 front end before so i assume a lot
1. the bumper has plastic brakets around the headlight area, i recon they rest in behind the lights, these were shaved off with a grinder then smoothed
2. After an incedent with a hare the bumper came detached from the inner chassis, so i would advise bolting the chassis on through the outer shell and make it so the number plate hides the bolts. Much safer that way.
3. I dont use the original mounting points, i took the area on the front of the car that would more or less align with the inner chassis which turned out to be two bits of folded metal about 6 inches in from the original mounting points, dont know what these plates are for my car doesnt use them, From there i attached a plate onto the inner chassis of the bumper and made up spacers using box section steel, 1/2 inch is perfect, Then with a long bolt attached the assembly to the metal bits on the car.
Complicated no, need to take a picture sometime and it will all be clear.
4. Bit of alignment and extension of the holes drilled for mounting was needed to get a good fit.
took me about a day to put it on, took 0.5 of a second for a hare to remove it, now it aint ever falling off again thanks to the box section stuff
