    Question GTE rear spolier question

Im having my spoiler off my red GTE resprayed white as my existing one is cracking,

I was wondering what it would look like if the whole thing was white? IE the black underside and legs in white as well.

has anyone seen a completely one colour one on a GTE?

this is something i have done.
rear black strip removed and underside sprayed white.
i have also fitted a 3nd brake light and reflectors on the corners as my lights have none
    i think it looks ok

The brake light is one of those after market jobbies, the led strip ones.
It was removed from case so just the strip, the spoiler taken to bits and cut-out made.
The wire was feed down one if the legs and a hole drilled though leg base and then boot lid.
Wire was then routed round and about to be connected to original wires

Not a difficult job but quite time consuming

Cheers for that Slider but im ok.

Im having the spoiler off my red gte resprayed so I will have my existing one to play with. Really dont fancy cutting a good spoiler in case it goes wrong.

Any particular reason Adam? Not being funny but this is the kinda thing im looking for, yes / no and reasons why.

I have to say im inclined to agree with you at the moment, the white underside looks good but a bit ott for me.

Mine does not have the black bit at the front and looks good. I've kept the underside black, but I think it could look good red.

With yours being white I think it would be better to leave yours black as it could make the back end a bit to white - black does a good job of breaking up shapes and giving something a structure - rather than looking like a blob.

You summed that up nicely mike, however do you have a pic of the top of your spoiler, I may consider getting that black bit done.

I dont think Mike meant any offence by that Mr Bean, its just his turn of phrase but I get the jist of what he is trying to say.

what annoys me about the GTE spoiler is how close it is the the rear windscreen - its really hard to clean the bottom on the glass - my brush doesnt reach.
I like that spoiler mr bean - nice little touch to make it different. I might look at mine and see what it would look like with the black bits bodycolour.

I totally agree about the rear spolier being too close to the glass, it is a bitch to get t o the glass to clean it, at the moment I cant see out of the glass under the spoiler.

indeedy, I clean the car - looks great!, then get in and look in the mirror and all I can see is a load of cr@p at the bottom of the window.
