Hi, anyone know if ANYWHERE sells projection Headlights for the Astra mk3? I have a 92 Astra, so it's the older shaped headlights. I think they look the ********, so if anybody knows if they're available, please let me know!
Cheers,
Dave

You could get the real genuine articles from vauxhall, they are probably pretty pricey but VERY rarely come up 2nd hand.

Well its a secret that vauxhall have DEALERSHIPS!!! around the UK...
They keep there cover by slapping vauxhall all over the building park loads of vauxhall cars outside.... they even go to the lengths of fitting their boys out in vauxhall overalls...
And all this so they won't be found....

lmao lmao lmao
Well, i think they're the headlights that have the clear glass at the front, instead of that frosted stuff. I could easily be wrong tho! I think it's something to do with the way they project the lights instead of having to diffract or whatever off of the frosted bits on the front glass. You see them on most modern cars, like for example the Astra mk4 i think! Correct me if I'm wrong here tho guys! In anycase, if they are what i think they are, they look the absolute ********.
By the way, anyway i can find Vauxhall dealership parts on the net? Can't be arsed to go out and find them myself!![]()

Dave
wasn't aware you could buy these for a mk3?![]()

I'm not sure you can get them, but that's why i asked. If it says they're available from dealers, may as well check it out.
Nope mate, projectors are the one with domed round lenses inside, you see them on audi's and i even had them on my '88 BMWWell, i think they're the headlights that have the clear glass at the front, instead of that frosted stuff.

Ah well, you usually get them with clear glass...so I was kinda rightNevermind tho!
hey tallpaul that looks like an original lhd m3??
Anyway could you put the projection units in a headlight in replacement of the original bulb?? or has the lens gotta be clear??
Life it seems..... Is not without a sense of irony.
I supposeyou would have to cut about the old light then find a way of holding the projector in there then get it all alined right.
I want some of those! lmao lmao lmao lmaoOriginally posted by PaulF
