GSI grille - badge air feed

Was reading a thread the other night but cant find it now about someone cutting out the badge hole on the standard mk3 astra gsi grill, and using this for the cold air feed to the induction.
Has anyone dont this, or got any pics. Wondering how it looks.

it's easy....cut the hole, align the air hosing to the new hole, voila.........job done!! Of course you could always try to bond the hose to the grill, but no real point as long as the hose is secure!?!?

To make it look like its not there you could fix a later style vaux badge inplace of the old one. Fresh Air feed & keeping the badge aswell.

yes, or maybe even just mesh the hole.
