Not at all. The quickest way is to go through the radio slot but that can lead to lots of swearing and a hell of a lot of skin missing from your knuckles

I've needed to do mine for a couple of years now and am still struggling to pluck up the enthusiasm for it, lol. I've got the bulbs now though so thats one step closer, lmao

it does depend as not all mk3's are the same, yea head unit out, cage out then it depends if its a face lift (1995 and newer) take the plug off the back of the heater speed controls then theres a little bulb holder that holds all 3 of the bulbs, change all 3,just the temp one was gone on mine, managed to get the bulb holder back in and the other 2 had stopped workin luckley hadnt put it all back together befor id checked it! if you've got a pre face lift i cant remember its been a while sence i changed them in my rally car but im 99% there is a differance! good luck buddy
    I dont look for mischief,it finds me!i!i!i!

I took the whole centre console out when I did mine. Well, I took the steering cowling off, radio out, then brought the centre console forwards so I had some more room. Much more trouble than it's worth, but I had white LEDs everywhere else and it needed to match. lmao
Teeth? LUXURY! When I was a child we ate by putting rocks in our mouth and jumping up and down.
