Electric Sunroof

Ok i aquired an electric sunroof motor and switch at the weekend for the lovely price of £00.00. Result.

Now what surround can i use to cover the motor? I hhave a carlton one but it seems a bit big and doesn't look in shape for the car if you know what i mean.

Which is the best surround to use?

A proper Astra mk3 one. From vauxhall. Someone with the EPC disc will be able to post the part number for you.

Its less than £10 anyway and fits spot on

It's about £6 dude.

I looked through my old receipts but couldn't find the one for the surround.
Somebody mentioned on here it was for the South African Astras.

I'll ring my mate at Vaux tomorrow and get the part number for you if you don't have any luck.
I can get you trade price on it for you, don't know if it's woth the drive for a quid thoughlmao

Carl. Try 90439359 for the cover, 90439055 for the switch and 90042667 for the clip. Their from a '97 version of the EPC but they should be right.

I'm about to do the same (got a motor and surround coming from a cavvy). I didn't know that the Astra had a fitted leccy sunroof in some countries.

Terry any chance of getting the stuff for me . I'd quite like to pay A couple of quid for the surround. There may be in it for you.lmao lmao

The surround on its own is about £6 iirc.
I used the switch off the Carlton surround i had, as they are £20 from Vaux, The switches are all the same, so i'd get one from a srappers dude.

Part numbers are from a 97 copy of EPC (part numbers may be right just my reading of EPC may be wrong lmao )

I'll PM you next week 'cos I'm on the sick at the moment and the parts have gone to work.
