Im thinking of getting the richbrook gear knob and handbreak lever, but how do you get them both off without doing any damage?

Twist hard on the gearknob. Handlbrake is a bit harder - but it does come off in the same method.

The plastic is just resistance fit over the metal shaft. You won't break it.

Yeah, they just slip on and then you tighten a grub screw with an allen key.

Went to see your borthertoday at the unit, he is getting on well.

As for the new Richmond stuff, very easy to put on, should be held in place by some small screws most probaly allen ones.

Soak the gear knob in hot water to soften it up and it will pull off (oo-er) a treat.
