Im looking to improve the interior of my astra mk sxi, the centre column which houses the stereo and shelves etc is in black matt finish on the face plate. I want to replace that with a carbon fibre/mock carbon look effect on there but im unsure if it has been done before on the mk4? I know the coupe has the red and blue face plate so could anyone see how I could do this or if it has been done?

looks nice, maybe I could pop out the one I have and template it and make my own? Or get a Carbon fibre effect looking sticker and cut out the bits to go straight over the top and get those lovely chrome heater rings!
thinking of making this centre column carbon fiberesc' look and modifying thedesign of the heater controls look altogether. Im gonna make up something similer to the Astra H style controllers and instrad of the numbers see a way to install LEDS for instead of the printed numbers...
