ok i think iv sourced the wheels i want for my mk 4 van, but the offset is et40 and the size is 8.5*18

its on coilovers so ride height can be adjusted to suit, but will they physically fit inside my arches??

what d'ya reckon?

i had 7.5j et 35 (i think, cant remember exactly) 17"'s on my estate and they fit but scrubed on the front sometimes, althought i was around70/80mm lowerd on the front and more on the back
