Handbrake Handles

How do i get the hand brake handle off a corsa C.
And the same on a Nova?

dont know, but I will be finding out tomorrow as I am fitting a new handle on mine as part of my new interior. will let you know, I expect you just have to twist it of or something.

I`m not 2 sure if the corsa handbrake cover is anything like a Mk3 Cav one but I had to cut mine off with a hacksaw.

I have removed mine now. the handle on a nova is just pushed on tight over the metal, I just got a pair of vice grips (mole grips, pliers) on the handle at kept twisting it while pushing it off. only took a minute or so. but nackered the old handle, so you wont be able to use that again.

After the gater you see, can hardley go in and chop the handle off!

The gaitor just needs a good pulling off, should slide over handbrake handle with ease.

I thought that bot the back of the handle seems bigger than the gater end. Didn't want to tug on it just in case it ripped the gater

what gaitor are you getting? I have just fitted a new handbrake handle and would'nt mind a gaitor to go with it.

but there is a corsa c at my local scrappy, may see ifs its still got the gaitor.
