    painting a car satin black

Building a new track toy with my bro mk1 nova

got some bubbling on the rear arches so we thought we would tidy it up and paint the whole car satin black, just wondered if the car needs to be primed first or you can just scotchbright it and paint straight on top?

    What Benn said re DA.
Im still undecided on Matt or Satin...
We used satin to dust it before the final DA session:

    And to paint the wheels:

And how it stands ready for my attempt this week:

Re: painting a car satin black

I'm in the middle of matt blacking my corsa (also with gloss white wheels) its easy enough, just flat back the standard paint and paint on top of it.
Matt black is really easy to get a half decent finish

Satin is much easise to keep clean, finger marks wont stay/show up.
