I think i'm right in saying, that is the one that Regal tuned up. I think it's a V6 with nitrous Still looks fecking hideous though

Without the go fast stickers and the stupid rear spoiler i gotta say i love that car.

Its bold, its in your face and it gets people talking about it.

Remember this is a companys demo car so any free publicity they get, like us talking about them, is good.

I bet you couldnt fault any piece of work manship?

    Very 'in your face'.
Going to get people talking whether it be positive or negative, and as you can't please all the people all the time, some people will like, some won't.
    Not my thing either though.

i was talking to the guy (jet) who owns the astra at santapod last month the car was parked on the redline stand next to mine, he was telling me how its going up for sale for 15k and then they are doing a new mk4 show car instead.

I must say the car has had a lot of time and money spent but i prefered it in its lotus jacket much mo he also told me that he uses it everyday and its not just simply a showcar!

absolute tosh. There aint one stone chip on that car, on a car like that with a V6, supercharger and NOS that is capable of 150mph+ there is no way it would survive.

Not a chance, thats a demo car pure and simple, besides, as if you could actually drive it anywhere, its way too low.

Bonnet looks like it's made from carboard and stickytape. Rear spoiler is pure nastyness. Front bumper looks, erm, well, yuk. Wheels are nice now. Paint is interesting. Stickers are very sad. Interior is awesome.

    Mk3 Astra (again)
that is the best astra ever (well... except for mine lmao lmao )
it's got everything - V6, Nos, 20s, and a custom (very nice) bodykit. if i had a spare 15k i'd buy it, and then there'd be some stone chips on it.

fact of the matter is theyre are no stone chips on cos the guy who owns it runs a bodyshop so the car is always kept immaculate by having a lick of paint every now and then before shows etc. Also the car gets its bodystyle changed that often that the stones dont get chance to chip it anyway!

i also asked the guy if he drove it hard and asked what speed it would do he told me it had been off he clock so he must have had is foot down sometimes (it has 160mph v6 clocks) he also added that at the moment he`s taking it steady as the clutch was fecked hence he must have used it a fair bit to cook the clutch!!!

ive seen that astra before it got this japlook...when it had the twin lights etc...and i quite like it as it was, this time theyve just jumped on the jap bandwagon like most of these maxpower fastcar etc buyers are.

aint seen much of it in the silver lotus shape though, i still like the current version its hard not to, but i personally prefered the previous version

I whole heartedly agree with Mr Paws on this one, the car looked superb in its "Lotus" guise. It was nicely styled, practical to use and not over the top.

I liked the car second time round except for the putrid green colour.

I like the bonnet but not the silly vents. The combined bonnet and grille with subtle badboy effect i think is fab.

    Hmmmmmmmm

The graphics are a joke, I would have shot who ever fitted them, more bubbles in them than Mr Matey.
Couldn't think of anything good to put in here.

When I spoke to Regal last they commented on the fact that the car was **** and not very fast. I thought that was fitting, considering they built half of it!

It doesn't look very nice, I remember seeing it in Fast Car last year, still got the copy of the mag, when it was green before it got the japlook and I thought it looked a lot better then than it does now
