    Wheel Wobble?

    Happy New Year To All,
My front wheel/s seem to be wobbling when I get to approx 30mph and I cant figure out what it is.Its more of a wobble than a vibration (balancing)but stops after around 30mph and is fine at higher speeds too,any clues?
    Cheers
    Chris

    1. Are the wheels balanced ?
    2. Are the wheels/tyres round ?
    3. Are your CV joints ok ?
    4. Are your lower arms ok ?
    5. Are your brakes ok or have the discs warped ?
    6. Are your upper mounts ok ?
    7. What kind of car is it ? It might help if you give us some kind of clue

Sounds like wheel balancing to me, its only about a £5 a wheel.

    Re: Wheel Wobble?

Maybe the wrong offset wheels. Ive got an unknown make of alloy on my corsa b, got them off a mate. They are the wrong offset and has a bit wobbling sensation in the steering between 60 and 70mph.

    Re: Wheel Wobble?

do you have a set of generic alloys or factory wheels if they are generic from rsr have you got spigot rings on them i spent a small fortune trying bearings balancing etc in the end took the car to the place i got the whhels and they threw on a set of spigot rings and it sorted the problem out there and then
