my mate just bought a peugeot 106 and the front suspention arms have given up ghost, now he fittes diesel legs on it and it rides really high at the front end!!, seen as its his workhorse he dont wanna go to the expence as to buy lowering springs, how much does he need to cut off to get a reasonable 25-30mm drop???

i got a set of jamex lowering springs off ebay for about 40 quid (brand new off ebay)

you should never chop springs they are dangerous when done and if you have an accident and insurance pickup on the fact that they were chopped....your screwed!
get on ebay or 106 owners clubs im sure soemone will have a set of cheap lowering springs or alternatively go to the scrapyard and get the correct shocks and springs for the car

As long as you cut the springs so they sit in the spring cups (PROPERLY) you wont have a problem
ive got 2.5 coils missing from my front end somehow
