how hard would it be to fit ford recaro seats in my cavalier, with the use of a welder?

depends on the amount of work you need to do and if you need to fabricate brackets etc.

You can't get thicker than a Kwik-fit fitter.
remove the escort subframes and weld the escort seats to the cav subfames
If you take the ford subframe off totaly, then you can bolt the seat frame(rail in the bottom) Almost direct to the cav frame. Well this can be done on a nova subframe which are very alike.
I'm louder than gods own revolver and twice as shiney.
I thought all recaro seats were the same fundamentally and they only fitted different frames according to the make and model of car they were going into.
