Astra G bootlid - help needed

I've recently aqquired a new rear end for my car, but unfortunately it needs to be painted up as it's a differnt colour.

As I've got some time off of work for the next couple of weeks, I'm planning on getting it painted up now that I have some free time. But I need to know if the glass is bonded in or if it's just the rubber seal around it holding it in. And also, the best way of removing it.

The car is an Astra G/mk4

I've found out that the screen is bonded in, but the rubber surround will just pull off to make the painting easier.

Just as a bit of information for people wanting to know, all fixed windows in the astra G are bonded in, including the rear windows on the 3 door cars.
