Vinyl Stickers or Not?

I sometimes regret putting stickers all over my corsa. Whilst I do get some freebies for having the stickers, I just don't know whether I prefer the look of the car with them on or not.

The stickers (probably due to their colour) do get the car lots of attention when driving about. I don't think windows with sliders help, but even on a track I don't think stickers really look that cool. Unless you've got the sort of vinyl like the Time Attack cars have (or a car that's cool to start with )

What do you think?

Keep the Vinyl

Ditch the Vinyl

*edit - nevermind. I re-read your post properly this time.

Have them all in one contrasting colour or take them off.

Re: Vinyl Stickers or Not?

Stickers look fantastic on race or rally cars, and good on some performance cars. No offence but a Corsa isn't any of those.

Re: Vinyl Stickers or Not?

Maybe you could try removing the yellow bits and replacing them with grey? That way they are a bit more subtle and there's one less colour.

Re: Vinyl Stickers or Not?

I like them on track cars, bit OTT for general road driving though, attracts too many boy racers trying to race you off the lights all the time etc.

Re: Vinyl Stickers or Not?

The trouble with all the stickers on a car (anyones for that matter) is if you arent fast enough to carry it off, you'll risk looking like a pleb.

Its like the guy with the £2000 mountainbaike that gets beat by the chap on a £200 Raleigh. Or the dude with the Kawasaki 9R & full matching green race leathers that can't ride for s**t.

Re: Vinyl Stickers or Not?

No vinyl for me I'm afraid, unless..... It's battenburgs on a track prepared T5

I toyed with that idea once. Just looks chav really and attracts the wrong attention IMO, all you'd get is "cool" from a sea of 9 year olds. Clean and well prepped FTW!

Re: Vinyl Stickers or Not?

i dont disslike it with them, but i have to say your car looks alot fresher and cleaner without them.

but it all depends on what you want the car for, if your using it everyday on the public roads it may be a bit overkill, unless your really comfortable with it the way it is.

Personally if in your shoes id probably be removing them

each to there own mate.

50/50 on that one, my daily driving senator looks like this:

This however covers up a world of bad paintwork

Then drove it to work the next day!
