side repeater removal

thinking of ditching the side repeaters and smoothing the wings....

is this legal and will i come unstuck come mot time or if pulled over?

not sure legal wise, but i used to run a gte with smoothed wings. no side repeaters at all. had loads of mots and no problem mentioned

Got To Have Some Sort Of Indicator On Side Of Car Pal I Got Bummed Off Mot 4 It Had To Get Some Mirrors With Em In .

You Have To Have Side Repeators From 1986 Or If You Stand At The Rear Of The Vehicle Near The Rear Lights And Move 1 Meter To The Side You Are Standing N/s Or O/s And Can See The Front Indicators E.g Wrap Around Headlights Then You Should Have No Problem With The Mot. Hope This Helps

my calibra was all smoothed out inc side repeters....never had any mot problems
