front grille small problem

hi i fitted a new carbon effect grille to my astra mk4 coupe and when id finished i noticed the daft tab that you open your bonnet with now sticks out, the original grille must stand out prouder than this new one, has anyone else had this problem and found a way to remedy it cheers

ive fitted a few and just trimmed the bit of plastic, good idea if the old ones never going back on

Most aftermarlet grilles need the catch tab cutting back, even the Irmscher ones require this
