gsi nova bumpers, anthracite

i currently have a set of new bumpers. front one an unpainted gsi bumper and the rear one a standard mk2 rear bumper. it wasnt till the other day i noticed that the rerar bumper is a lighter shade from the front bumper, due to the fact the bumpers have a few marks and blemishes on them im now thinking about doing them anthracite/dark metallic grey.

any info on what shade of grey to go for as im thinking about volvo titanium grey but sometimes when i look at the picture of the volvo grey it looks a bit light. any suggestions?????

Re: gsi nova bumpers, anthracite

Mine used to have un-painted GSi bumpers, started looking a bit scabby so had them painted, just picked them up today, there done in Toyota Metalic gray (paint code = 1B6), same as my cage / door handles / strut braces ect .. it was the closest match that i could find, only thing now is that they look more glossy.

Before and after, not the best pics but might give you 1/2 an idea ?!?!

Re: gsi nova bumpers, anthracite

Hurricane Grey is over used & a horrible finish IMO.
Look at some of the Peugeot Greys. Iron Grey, steel Grey to name a couple.

BMW anthracite is nice too.

For the bumper tops on my Cav GSi i used volvo dark grey. Yes thats the name of the colour, not the shade, looks really nice, not too light
