    14" wheels and 2L brakes

Just a quick one here. Does anybody know if 14" alloys or steelies will fit over 2L astra brakes. i have my first forest rally coming up and 15" forest tyres will not fit inside my arches!
Thanx in advance for any replys. Martin

Pretty much all 14s fit over 256mm brakes, only exception i know of is nova (gte, gsi sri etc) alloys. but these can be made to fit by slightly grinding the small part of the calipers that catch.

I've got Mk2 Cavalier Commander 14" steelies on my Nova, they fit snug over my 2L brakes. They are 5.5j though, the 5j ones (from a Nova SR) are a bit too tight I think.
