Ive got a cavalier v6 in black and I don't know what the right name is for the colour is.
the code under the bonnet reads "Z 266 634"

It will say 81L or something. That's the paint code you need to know.
BTW - 81L is diamond black. Is your's a matellic black? If so it's the same as I think they only did 1 metallic black.
okay am i dumb or do I ave an awkward one as I would expect knowing my luck
Seen plenty this colour so :>
81L + E266 and Z266 are all the same paint code for = DIAMOND BLACK.
E266 and Z266 are the OPEL paintcodes and 81L is the vauxhall paint code
