    Harnesses

    Hey Guys

What do you think to harnesses on a road car?

And how can they be fitted in to a mk4 astra (3dr) with out securing it to the back seat so it can still be used?

harnesses on a road car = gay

there much much more painfull for low speed crashes and if not fitted tight they offer alot worse protection than a standard seatbelt.

if you have the belts mounted to the floor dirrectly behind drivers seat they will offer no protection AT ALL

so the only way to mount them is where the rear seats are

They are not very practical on the road, hard to move around and look behind you etc, i agree the only safe way to mount them is with the rear seats removed.
