    Anyone with a lowered Astra G (mk4) ?

    Hi there!!!

I recently busted one of my shock absorbers, and will take the oportunity and replace all of them with something better (bilstein of whatever).
I also thought about lowering it by 30mm, but don't know how it will look.
It would help if you could post pictures of your lowered Astra G!

    Thanks a lot!

    Nice!
That's too much for me though...
I'm always surprised how those wheel arches aren't smashed by the tyre when you hit a speed bumb

Edit: Oh on the first one, 60/40, is this front/rear? Damn that looks nice... what tyre size are those?

Yeah 60 front, 40 rear, the tyres on both cars are Falken 452's, 215-35-18s.

-30mm on your 1.4 cooking model isnt the same as -30mm on a GSi/Sri which is lower to start with.

Easiest way if you want to see your car lower is to park it near some steps & then look at it from a few steps up, it will look lower.

    Re: Anyone with a lowered Astra G (mk4) ?

My 1.4 is already lower than standard , because it's the sport model (Opel astra 1.4 sport). The springs/shocks are even diferent parts from other 1.4 models.

(mine is exactly like this, except it's a 1.4)

Where can I buy a complete kit online? I found one at courtenay sport for £445 whith bilstein shocks and 30mm springs (guess they will only lower about 15mm on my car, because it is already lower than normal)

-30 Eibach springs and some upgraded dampers, MASSIVE improvement, the springs even with std shocks are brilliant, lower, bit stiffer, but rides almost the same, not hard etc.

So long as you dont spray the pistons or coilover threads you'll be fine. Satin Black paint is your friend!
