Cleaning interior plastics

Just bought an Astra Coupe Turbo!!

Interior needs a cleanup and the centre console needs a respray due to Stevie Wonder respraying it for some reason.


What do you guys use to clean the interior plastics...ie the black dash. I'm guessing its not cockpit shine!!!

Also, there is a bit of overspray on the black plastic next to the centre console, any recommendations to remove that? Was going to try the wifes nail varnish remover first...

No ffs not the nail varnish remover.

There are loads of good dash cleaners out there, pop to halfords and have alook, you want a cleaner not just a shiner up.

You need to be really carefull on the plastic as alot of stuff will mark it, try whitesprite some where out of the way.

try a stiff nail brush, n some elbow grease, if its 2 pack the only way to get it off would be to use thinners but that will mank the plastic up!

Damp micro fibre cloth cleans dashes nicely.

Neither will get over spray off tho..
