    Decisions, decisions

As previously posted, i'm thinking of having my bonnet louvred. Now i've just got of the phone to them and now i'm well confused as what to do. They've got a minimum charge of £30 so thats six louvres sorted but now for the decision. Do i,
    A. Have four each side to keep it looking even?
    B. Have six just in front of the air filter and leave it at that
    C. Have four in front of the air filter and leave it at that, bearing in mind i've got to pay for six either way.
    D. Scrap the whole idea completely as it'll look shite.

Please give your honest answers as i'm seriously looking for insperation here. I've not really seen many cavs with louvres and i'm worried it'll look tacky

    howard had his bonnet louvered

he had a strip above the airfilter sucking air in and a strip of louvres above the exhaust manifold to help heat reduction in the engine bay as well as a set of funny louvres further towards the rear

i would say go for function over symettry

Function is what i'm after at the end of the day. The only thought of making it symetrical was to try and keep a even look. The problem being is that i don't want them directly above the filter as it's an induction kit and i dont want to be sucking in water. Having them before the filter should eliminate the amount of water that'll go through the vents near the filter, but also drop the louvres quite a way forward on the bonnet.

    definitely function over looks mate.......

have a few in front of the filter to let cool air in, maybe a few above the exhaust manifold area to let warm air out....

saw a nova a few months back with quite a few, prob 20 ish, and it looked absolutely stunning!!!

    go for it.........

ask someone on here to PSP a mock up to see.......
