how do i take nova windows out ?

right car having full respray sat and i need to take the windows out but never taken a set of nova windows out before, any tips or what way to do it etc and also how do i refit them someone said use a piece of string or something can anyone help me ????

if it is the rear 1/4 windows what i usually do is get inside the car and peel the rubber surround up (usually towards the window itself) once you have done a few inched it should be easy to continue to remove the seals which hold the window in place

for the front drivers and passenger side window, remove the door card using a philips headed screwdriver to remove the screws which hold it in place
there should be a window holder holding the glass in place in the middle of the door frame. i think there is 2 bolts that need to be undone, this should then slacken off the window holder and the windows should pop out

front windscreen is pretty much the same as th rear 1/4 windows. from my experience i have removed the with pulling up the rubber seal on the outside of the car untill i have had enough to pop the windscreen out. it may be bonded in though

cheers for that gordon, i heard about how to do the rear quarters by peeling the rubber back and have done the front before its just the front and back screen i didnt know how to do and also what about refitting them ?

the back screen should be the same as the 1/4 windows although the rubber on it may be a bit tougher, might be best to get a few screwdrivers in to it to help force it away. you will be better off doing it from the inside of the tailgate

p.s i usually start off from a corner and work my way around the frame, once you get 1/4 of the way around it becomes a piece off piss
