    Alloys

    Hey guys

Not a vaux question but a rover. my gf has a rover 214 and just brought some new alloys, now the wheels fit but the bore diameter (cente of wheel where the center caps go) is slightly bigger than that of the standard.

will she need to have spiggot rings done? if so why and what difference do they make?

    cheers guys

    Re: Alloys

just go to a wheel shop and they will be able to help...they help to keey the wheel on the hub straight, helps alot when your trying to put the wheel back onto the hub...sometimes people get vibrations when they go at a certain speed because of not having a spigot ring

    Re: Alloys

measure the bore inside the alloy, then measure the part on the hub, then you have the size you need for a spiggot ring
