Alarm fitting

does any one know where the f**k the interior light wire runs down from the light PLEASE HELP

Why do you need to trace it ?

the alarm i am fitting needs to be connected to this cable for the power and for it to sence a voltage change when the doors open... i have tryed other cable be the alarm will just arm and then will not pick up the voltage change when i open the doors.....

You have door switches in the A Pillars..... that push in when doors shut so turning off the interior light.... wire it to these switches.... thats what I did..... undo the screw...remove the switch and solder wire in... then run it through the A Pillar back to the alarm....

i tryed that one.... when the doors were open then there was power running to the alarm but as soon as the doors were closed the power is then cut to turn the ligh off which then cut the power to the alarm....... ( The power cable for the alarm also sences the voltage change)......

Ok....here is another try for you....

Try poking the wire through the earthed bit (Ie the bit screw goes in) - then wrap the wire round screw and screw into the earth point ..... see if that works.... if it does you might want to solder wire to back of the earthing point....
