    Crash damage

Coming home from work tonight. someone was overtaking in a line off trafic 80 yrds from a roundabout, coming toward the ambulance that i was following. It was raining and there was diesel on the road, the ambulance in front of me breaked and i did but skidded and hit him up the rear @ about 10mph.

The ambulance was a merc vito. The only damage i could see was a corner bumper trim and a bit of red paint on the rear door. The driver was very understanding because he blamed the driver that was on the wrong side of the road. But at the end of the day i'll have to pay.

Anyhow now my astra needs a headlight. The bonnet creased next to the vent and next to the headlight. Also there is a small hole about 5mm in my bumper. And a few scratches here and there.

Its pink (red). Im going to fill and spray the bonnet, bumper tomorrow night. Whats the best way of blending the red into the pink.

Should i paint the bonnet and top of the wings and then once hardened finish with really fine wet and dry and rubbing compound?

Also is it possible to buy the "16v" stickers for the bumper or are there any crome ones avalible?

btw its a mk2 astra gte

    Cheers

can you not try and find who spilt the diesel and claim off them for causing the accident. worth a try.
