All Facelifts were Gas were they not?

Replaced the wife's with Centaur (Kwik fit) lifetime Guranteed Gas ones (Wish I'd put Konis on but she wouldn't let me)

Rears just top nut and bottom bolt.

Fronts require strut taking off and Springs removing (specialist tools)

Assuming the Mk3 astra ones are the same as Cavalier etc. Usually you remove the top bolt from the bonnet hinge, then one from the wing top, then just click the strut into place with the ball joint fittings. Fitting usually takes under 10 mins.

Oh, if you are looking at converting some you may have to use brackets etc.
You can buy them ready to fit complete with fittings for Astras tho. Wouldnt bother with scrappy for them tbh.
Usually about £40 for a pair.

Gavin Wallace does em, (top of page)

PVD do them, many other places too

CAv ones cost £35 from Gav.
