Car is diamond black metalic,in standard form.
Swore to myself i wasnt gonna mod it but itsjust gotta be done!
So i was thinking about puttin the infinity kit on,evo spoiler, nice set of 17's and lower it slightly.

Rieger products are top quality so yeh it could look good. Leave the evo spoiler though and go for something different.

TBH though, IMO you dont need to do a lot to Callys to make them look nice, RDS is an example of that. Also my mates across the road, no bodystyling mods have been done to it, but hes got a set of 18s under the arches, and they make it look fantastic.

I say go for it, I think the rieger infinity kit looks good for the cally. Nice looking car but I allways thought the front of mine seemed a bit boring when it was standard.

I agree about leaving the evo spoiler, its what I have fitted and its coming off for next year, not sure what way to go next though.

    All the best with it,
    Craig.

Not sure about the fibre glass kit, mines the actual rieger one. Whats the price of the fibreglass replica? Online tuning are doing the actual Rieger kit at around 450ish I think.

You said you were going to lower your car so you may pick up some knocks which may damage the fibre glass kit more easier than the abs kit because with it fitted the car sits pretty low especially at the front & sides.

i think th f/g kit was around the 500 mark with spoiler.
but if the real deal is that price then i may aswell go for that.
Any numbers where i can order one?
If i lower it 40mm,will i get 18's on it without modding the arches or am i gonna be held at 17's?

Buying the cheaper kit may cost more in the long run ,it,s not as good a fit , so will take more time and costs to make it go on , where as buying the original kit from Reiger will guarentee it will fit !! ....... phone Superspeed ( 01313164200 ) for a Reiger price

    any pics Scott?

I know when i bought it i swore that i wasnt gonna modify it and the Mk1 would stay the toy.
    But.....................

I wanna make the Cally look a bit smarter.
I saw the infinity kit a while back in TV,blue one with silver bumper strips, and liked that.

The cally aint gonna get started til the Mk1 is finished but that doesnt stop me getting the ideas sorted and buying the bits ready.
As i expect the Mk1 will be done in the next month or two.
Its not the fitting of the engine thats gonna take the time, that could be done in a week, its the spraying and the welding that is holing me up as i want the bay spotless.

But once the 16v is in Raz,the cally is next on the hit list!

I have mate yeah - just need to scan them up - it is the best kit Ive seen for the Calibra - period.... trouble is cos it comes from Germany it works out at about £950 all in..... thats without a rear spolier.... Calibra doesnt need a rear spoiler....

Well thats what I do..... I use the GTE as my toy and the Corrado stays as my daily driver although am itching to put a Neuspeed Conversion on the Corrado....

    lmao lmao

Yeah I saw the Blue cally with silver strips - very similar to the lumma kit except for the front bumper..... you need at least 17's to pull it off though.... my mates we dropped 40mm and added 17's with the kit.... looks fab....

Im doing the same for my respray on the MK1 - going to spend sometime seam welding top of the turrets and cleaning the engine bay up so can spray it too...

    Scott.

its hard having 2 vauxhalls that NEED to be modded lol!

I did discuss at length with Bobby the fact that if i bought another vauxhall id mod it.
I swore i wouldnt but he knew i would.
Spose he knows me better than i do myself, either that or im just wicked at lying to myself !!!!

Spose it will be nice having 2 modded cars to show off at Billing next year!

Next question is how do i drive em both at the same time??????

Would love to see pics of that kit before i make a decision scott although at the min im leaning towards the reiger kit as its probably easier to get hold of!

Fair enough but my bodyshop guy who is awesome (insurance approved didnt ya know!!! * ) said the Lumma kit was the best quality bodykit he'd ever seen!!! * - its that good... bolts straight on.... isnt one of these over bumpers either - is direct replacement.....

As for driving at same time - if Im in a mood for driving hard I take the GTE.... if Im in the mood for cruising then I take the Corrado..... simple init *

Will sort these pics out this weekend as some of the guys on here havent seen it either....

    Raz,

If you go for the Rieger kit please consider buying it from Online Auto Sport 01543 252010. I bought the Rieger race kit from them which is basically the infinity kit with the arches as well, Superspeed & psg gave me something like a 6-8 week delivery time, Online had it delivered direct from Germany in 10 days, Also ordered some mirrors/spoilers at the same time which were delivered in about 2-3 days. I recommended them to someone else and again they recieved a top service. BTW I dont work for them .

Superspeed unfortunately dont take credit cards over the phone (which I do understand why not) and theres no way I would post a 2 grand cheque to someone I dont know however well respected they are.

Lumma can be bought via Rieger so Online will probably be able to source it as well (not 100% sure though)

Like Lumma my bodyshop said the Rieger stuff was VERY good quality, all fitted like a glove, arches were the hard part to fit.

    All the best,
    Craig.
