black panels are available for hatchbacks off GL & CD models.
In answer to your question. A hatch will fit a saloon but a saloon will not fit a hatch. Trouble is i'm not sure which way round it is.
They are not the same anyway.

I assume that its going to be the same problem as fitting Turbo centre reflector panel to a hatch, on the facelift shape.
If it is, than no they don't fit (very well anyway). The problem is that a hatch has a painted strip under the lights and the saloon doesn't. This means that the saloon panel has a lip on the bottom curving inwards and the hatch one doesn't. It curves out slightly at the bottom.
Hatch panel will fit a saloon but saloon panel won't fit a hatch. The hatch panel tapers at the bottom where the saloon panel is straight.
