Has anybody actually managed to do this?

As AdamSRi and me tried it and the headlight adjustment motors are incompatible (wrong connectors/looms)

Do those of you who have GSi lookalikes do away with the adjusters?

How do you overcome this?

Yup,

The adjusters just wouldnt work for some reason.
Bit annoyed as I wanted v-grille, but oh well....maybe a corsa v-grille into something.

Chill, no inconvenience caused

It must have been done as i've pics of 5door p2 mk3's with GSi grills without the gap at the edge of the headlight.

the adjuster motor pulls out of the headlamp - be carefull when u put it back in - u need to stop the inside from moving around and pop the adjuster motor back in - i went from phase 2 - back to phase 1 lights - all mine still work - 5 min job
