    Preping rocker cover for paint

This morning i managed to get the cam cover done and it looks ace but every time i lay a base onto my rocker cover all the little nooks and crannies start to peel. How should i prep it to get good adhesion there i cant get sandpaper in properley? Is paint stripper a good idea?

Get a dremmel im sure you can get sanding wheels that should fit in the nooks and crannies. Another idea is to have it media blasted but this will cost a bit more. Paint stripper will need cleaning off in a chemical bath to clean off otherwise the paint you apply afterwards will flake off

Sound like there's still some dirt/grease on it. Try some mr muscle over cleaner. leave it on, scrub with a toothbrush, rinse in water and dry it in an oven.

ive always used nitromorse without any residue left over just needs wiping off and sanding after, make sure you prime it or it will just keep flaking
