    60mm lowering springs on tiggy

i have 17" wolfrace alloys on my tigra and was wondering is it possible to use 60mm nova springs on it. I can imagine therell be a bit of rubbing, but will there be a need for archwork?

the wheels are offset 40 btw

    cheers peeps

i think you'll be ok on the front, the back though you should be fine when it's rolling but hard bumps will catch i reckon. I have 18's on -40 springs, (just cant remember what offset), and the back could easily come down another 20mm, just think with a bit of weight it would start catching.
Do your wheels stick out past the bodywork at all at the back ?!

the ideal offset for a tigra is 45.
as mine are 40, it means they stick out a tiny bit more, which could mean rubbing.
tbh, i dont mind rubbing, i just dont want the hassle of archwork. so 60mm could be too low?!

tbh i'd say try it - it's the only way to be sure !! is it lowered at the moment with those wheels ?!
there is quite a bit of difference between different makes - -60mm of one brand won't be the same as -60mm of another due to how well they take weight (poundage), so try it !!
