You'd need one of the dash paint kits you can get from the Likes of Demon Tweeks etc.
However. You will ruin the dash if its not done right or the product is crap.
I've got the GSi black dash in my.... GSi. Tbh I prefer the grey from the lesser spec cars. Its fresher & lighter looking. I'd advise you to stay with the grey tbh. Mine might get swapped at some stage tbh.

might be best off whipping it out and taking it to a paint shop, the money'll be worth the amount of time and hassle it would save you and the finish would be a good 'un![]()
i painted a grey mk2 dash blue once it looked quite good but the paint seemed to crack over the summer. it was a dash paint from demon tweaks its kind of sinks into the vinyl and almost dies it but the upper layer started to crack maybe i did it to thick .
i then stuck a gsi dash in but the grey ones do look good

Either get a genuine black one or flock the grey one. looks good and more hardwearing.

I can understand how Black GSi dashes are more sought after over common grey dashes but seriously after owning a GSi for 9 years I think its drab & dull. I much preferred sitting behind a grey dash in my TD. With matching door cards & seats etc Grey is far more uplifting.

on the hunt for something to take to pvs 2010!!!
I've painted a grey dash with Halfords vinyl paint before. Outcome was good at first, and it feels hard wearing (you can dig your finger nail in to it), but I've noticed some signs of wear which come back through as grey.
I've just sent some bits to suffock flocking, when they arrive back i'll let you know how they turn out.
