    lowering query. (kinda urgento)

Right got myself 195-50-15 rubber all round and went in today to order lowering springs.

Ive ordered and paid for a set of G max -40mm lowering springs but come home and been thinking about it and im not sure if there gonna be ok or not.

My offset on the wheels is et35 so i reckon -40 is a bit ott.

Would i be safer to go -25 on this size wheel and offset or stick with -40mm which i have ordered?

Cheers in advance, need to call the shop at 9am so if i could get speedy replies it would be much appreciated.

i went -35mm Avo(Chassis Dynamic Springs) on 15" rims a while back et35 and it was ok, no where the arches, should be ok, also have to say the ride quality is excellent with the springs i have.

you can buy springs seperatley.but if you can afford it buy a matched set ie springs and shocks at the same time.

as long as the shocks are ok it will be fine.
on standard shocks only go -40 mm or youll need a matched kit with shorter shocks to match the springs.

Totally depends on the offset of the wheels.

et35 and you would be struggling and need major work, et42 and above and you might get away with it.
