MK2 GTE: Rear Spoiler - Can it be mod'd

If I was to remove the 2 middle supports on the spoiler would it be too flimsy or would it need to be strengthened.

Im asking coz Im sure that its gonna be a Q that has been asked B4.

You can remove them. The rear spoiler on GTE's are made from quite hard ABS and not the normal high density foam/steel composite as found on most other spoilers.

I wouldnt mate as someone I know did this and it knocked on the rear screen! really annoying!
